Jacob Boehme (1575 — 16240) was a German Lutheran. While he would hold little appeal for a later dispensationalist Calvinism, he nevertheless represents a creative light in a constellation of orthodox Protestant mysticism that includes the Theologia Germanica, and the work of Martin Luther and Johann Arndt.
